How tall will the peas grow up the trellis before they start to flower and produce? I don't think anything else has changed or even grown!
Melissa enjoys running around the path and through the two walkways. "It makes two eights!" was an exclamation one day.

My peas are flowing and getting pods but I've never tried growing them on a trellis. I like that idea, it looks really neat. Did you order a special kind that grow that way? My plants are fairly short and near the ground. your whole garden looks great!
They're just sugar snap peas that I picked up at Marvin's. I read in a book (Square Foot Gardening) that I should make something for them to climb so did that with things I had on hand. :)

Thanks, Abbi. Melissa really enjoys the gardening and will help me pull out the weeds. I can't wait for her to be able to pick peas and eat them because she enjoyed that so much last year.
