It's fixed!

The man who fixed our water softener left just a bit ago. It's charging away and shows all the information it did before it quit last year. There was a lot of sand in it, and this piece was broken and cracked. Hopefully we'll be set now for another nine years. :)

I have a couple loaves of bread dough rising. We're having "open-faced sandwiches" for supper tonight so I need to find something to go on them.

I'm also working on a dress makeover for a friend of ours. Pictures should be coming soon as the project is going very well.

Glad it's fixed. Right after we got our water softener the computer went out. Luckily it was still under warranty.

It's working wonderfully now. Soon it'll be up to registering our "actual" water usage though. It kind-of seems nice only using an average of 99 gallons for a seven-day stretch. :)

lol…I have yet to pay attention to our daily usage. I'm doing good to remember to put salt in the thing periodically :)

We HAVE to have salt in it or our water is orange. My shower, tub, toilets, and sinks are orange just from the time it wasn't working. I'll have to take some toilet bowl cleaner after them when everyone's out of the house.
