I whipped up some peanut butter/oatmeal/flax cookies so have them baking right now; it's been too hot in here during the day to do anything with the oven. One of the cooler days that's coming will have to be a summer-bake day where I make lots of cookies and store them in the freezer. :)
The four middle kids went to a VBS yesterday where Tracy was helping.

Thank you so much for the compliment. It's so nice to hear some good about the kids! The kids must be having fun because they keep coming back; usually I have to force them to go the first day then give them the option the rest of the week. (I'm sure the candy bribe has something to do with it also.) :)
A summer bake day (on a really cool day) sounds like a good idea. Just lately I have been rather reluctant to turn my oven on because I don't want to heat up my house.
I think I got my baking done while there was a lull in the heat; it's heading our way again tomorrow!
