I ran out of room in my refrigerator for the week when getting my seven gallons of milk so instead of buying a new one, I just used my resources and God's outdoors. We still have lots of snow and cold temperatures where I live, and this cooler is one of those "five-day" things. It's a win-win-win situation! I keep my food cool and use something that would normally be in storage this time of year and don't have to pay $ for electricity to cool my food.

I TOTALLY used to do this when I lived in snow country. I lived in a 3rd floor apartment and we'd store things outside of the window on the ledge!
I never even thought of it until recently. :) I used to set things out on the porch but have had to quit doing that because of animals.
