That's funny! I didn't make jam, but this sunday I pulled the last bag of frozen straberries from the ones we picked las summer too! Almost time to pick more!
We won't be picking until the end of June where we live! The kids have already been talking about it though. I guess I'll have to make sure I set aside the time and $ to do it.
Oh Shelly, I am in WI. I think last time it was mid june maybe end of June when we went strawberry picking. I wished I lived in the south. it should be the strawberry festival sometime soon in Ponchatoulas, LA. We used to go every year when we lived down there. I am a little jealous people talking about planting when I still have to wait for all of the snow to melt.
Wow, I didn't realize we were so close! I know what you mean about the planting bit; I don't do a big garden at all, but last year I planted four tomato plants at the end of May and froze them. Two did come back though they only produced one tomato each. I can't wait for the strawberries!!!!!
