Jason's 12th Birthday
Jason had his 12th birthday on July 14. In the morning he went to his swim team "lapping" as I call it, as he swims nearly a mile each time he goes. We went to Streiff's Sporting Goods for a birthday party for Jason in the afternoon with two of his friends. He had pizza, pop, a cake, ice cream cones, and 1 1/2 hours of archery. For supper he had chicken nuggets. I believe I bought doughnuts for his birthday breakfast.

That is a cool birthday party!
He enjoyed it, and it went well until one of the boys threatened (jokingly) to shoot his brother. That set off Jason and Emily "messing around."
