I took some of the kids to Baudette to go sledding behind Willie Walleye. It's not a big hill, but it's big enough to have fun seeing who can "set the record" by going the farthest. Of course, we always have to try to snowboard on a sled also. :)
Laura got cold so I turned the van on and stuck her inside it for a while. I was minding my own business when suddenly I heard, "Click-swish." It was a sinking feeling in my stomach because I hadn't popped the trunk open. She had locked herself in! After a lot of coaxing and encouraging and playing "Push the button again," I was able to get her to unroll the window enough that I could get my arm in. Whew!!!!! You'd think I'd learn to have some caution after having so many kids... :)
