I dug the fabric bags and box out of the closet and came up with enough material to make four pairs of shorts for Emily next summer. Tracy cut them out for me, and I sewed them together as far as I could. I am now out of thread except for a tiny bit of black (enough to do one patch on someone's knee) so am out of the business for a while. Hee hee hee I'll have to turn my thinking to some Thanksgiving projects for the kids.

I have lots of sewing projects I need help with. One is to take Ula's old wedding and anniversary clothing and turn it into a quilt of some sorts. She is moving by the end of the month and hated to throw the things out. Does Tracy want to come and help???
I was hoping she's comment one way or the other. I know sewing projects aren't her favorite...
Maybe you could get her after her informal recital (of course, you'd have to take Dumbo too--ha ha ha, Tracy) on the 7th and get her to the motel.
